Every month, I wait eagerly for my issue
of

to come in the mail. This month,
while waiting, I thought,
G ee, it m u st be
hard to keep com in g up w ith fr e s h ideas

C o u ld there possibly be a n y th in g tru ly new

? Well, after reading Get
Organized— about laundry tips— I now
want to do laundry all day and am giddy
about reorganizing my laundry room.
And I previously hated laundry above all
other chores! Thank you for continuing
to be better than ever,

In Michigan, we call
them garage sales because they're usually
in the driveway and garage. No matter
what, I pull over!

Have
Your
Cake
My family has been
using the same
chocolate cake recipe
for over 25 years. But
my 15-year-old
daughter, Holly, made
her grandmother this
birthday cake,
above,
using the Double
Chocolate Cake recipe
and Vanilla Sour
Cream Frosting
featured in your
February issue.
Between layers, she
used fresh straw-
berries and crushed
Oreo cookies.
Needless to say, it was
a fantastic hit! This
family is saying good-
bye to the old, hello
to the new! Thanks so
much for such a great/
easy recipe that can
now become part of
our tradition!

Thanks for the
wonderful over-the-
door gift-wrap-center
idea in your February
issue. I found the
organizer at a local
store and had it
together and set up
with my supplies in
less than an hour. This
idea works great. It
opened up two shelves
in my crafts closet
and helps me wrap
like a pro in no time
at all. I couldn’t find
the extra shelf shown
in your example, but I
added some ribbons to
tie my gift bags at the
bottom.
I’ve been a
B H G
subscriber
for years and have
incorporated dozens
of your organizing
ideas into my home.
Thanks, and keep the
great ideas coming!
